BURGER-BONANZA!

Chef Michael Beglinger and crew will teach you how to select, shape and grill different burgers.  We’ll use beef, turkey, lamb, tuna and veggies.  We’ll also make sliders, fabulous condiments and sides.   Plenty of eating (and drinking!) will ensue as we explore the burger in all its glory.

WE HEART MEAT
We will teach you how to select and purchase high quality cuts of steaks, chops and filets and how to prepare them simply and beautifully.  Learn how to properly sear meat, perfectly caramelizing the sugars and browning the proteins in the meat to create more color, more flavor, and that gorgeous gorgeous crust.  We’ll prepare delicious marinades, flavored oils and rubs as well as simple accompaniments, sauces and grilled vegetables.

BREAKFAST KING

Perfect the art of breakfast!  Prepare buttermilk pancakes, raised waffles and muffins from scratch.  Learn how to quickly and easily and make a fabulous breakfast on a Sunday morning.   We’ll also teach you how to make different types of omelettes and fritattas and a simple, satisfying fruit salad.

PIZZA AND PASTA

Come to the Larder and make pizza dough from scratch.  Shape and stretch it, and prepare several toppings to dress it.  We’ll bake pizza on a stone and we’ll grill it.  We’ll also teach you tricks on cooking and dressing pasta correctly with sauces like homemade basil pesto and tomato sauce.
